Webinar – Wrack immersion, an issue for biodiversity?

April 15th

2:00 - 5:00pm (UTC+1)

Many countries around the world are submerging shipwrecks to restore degraded areas, develop biodiversity and support their coastal economies. What is the situation in the world’s seas and oceans? What ecological and economic benefits can be expected? What is the perception of coastal users and stakeholders? What does the regulation propose? On the basis of an international assessment, the webinar will address these different aspects to allow for debate and identify possible recommendations for the use of this tool in coastal management.
