Small African islands are committed to preserving their environment and implementing solutions for the sustainable development of their territory. With the support of the French Global Environment Facility, SMILO is currently funding 17 projects for biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, sustainable water management, energy and waste management. In a dynamic “pop-up” session format, the 17 representatives of these projects will present the best practices implemented on their island. Session 1 – Strengthening biodiversity preservation and adaptation to climate change Questions & Answers Session 2 – Sustainable water and waste management on small islands Conclusion Working languages: French and English Hybrid event
