The Rhone Mediterranean Corsica Water Agency, the Conservatoire du Littoral and the PIM Initiative have for many years been involved in the development of scientific knowledge on the state of coastal and island territories in the Mediterranean and the species that live there.
In the continuity of these objectives, a Mediterranean Observatories project was born. This project aims at developing cross-monitoring on both shores of the basin, with a view to developing and disseminating knowledge on the state of biodiversity and to train stakeholders in new practices of observation, monitoring and analysis.
