Following the Meetings of the Coastal Agencies of Europe and the Mediterranean, organized in France in 2015 and in Montenegro in 2020, and in the continuity of the ICO Virtual Seminar organized last June 8, which allowed us to share our respective approaches and projects on the challenges of adapting coasts to climate change, the Conservatoire du Littoral is organizing a new technical workshop on September 8, 2021 in Marseille (France), bringing together once again the Coastal Agencies and organizations of Europe and the Mediterranean working on the conservation of natural coastal areas. This workshop aims to share current issues and ongoing projects of all organizations present (land acquisition, biodiversity conservation and ecological restoration, enhancement of built heritage/landscape, communication and public awareness, local governance and partnerships, …) and work collectively on the development of partnerships, cooperation projects or opportunities for collective mobilization to carry together the Voice of the Coasts.
