DRIVER

January 12th – 2pm (UTC+1)

DRIVER is a cooperative approach involving researchers, technicians, managers, institutions and financial partners. Through its dynamics, it allows the setting up of projects, the sharing and valorization of results and a contribution to the definition of policies for the ecological restoration of small coastal funds. It was launched in 2015 at the initiative of the University of Perpignan, the Rhone Mediterranean Corsica Water Agency and the company Ecocéan. The 2021 edition of DRIVER will provide an opportunity to take stock of the work undertaken in recent years, in terms of public policy, knowledge and work. The main operations carried out will be presented as well as the work prospects for the years to come. The 2021 edition will be special because of its integration into the ICO Solutions approach and the series of meetings that will be organized around technical workshops on the evaluation of the ecological efficiency of ecological restoration operations, the link between restoration and coastal economy, reflection on the challenges of restoring sandy environments, days of field visits and international training on ecological restoration.
