CEPF Advisory Committee

September 8th

2:00 – 4:00pm

The CEPF Advisory Committee provides guidance and recommendations to the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF), supporting the creation of a coherent portfolio of projects in the Mediterranean Basin in accordance with the investment strategy. CEPF is a joint initiative of the French Development Agency, Conservation International, the European Union, the Global Environment Facility, the Government of Japan and the World Bank. The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) is designed to conserve biodiversity in hotspots – areas that are both the richest and most biologically threatened. The fundamental objective is to ensure that civil society is engaged in biodiversity conservation. The Advisory Committee helps develop long-term, multi-stakeholder partnerships among other initiatives, donors, and key stakeholders in the region; replicates and maintains the vision of the Mediterranean Ecosystem Profile, both during and after CEPF investment in the region. Working languages: English and French
