World Island Networks and Organisations – Session 2: Europe, Africa, Caribbean, Americas
1st December
Over the past few months, SMILO has been working on mapping networks and organizations that contribute to the protection of the environment or heritage of islands. This initiative aims to identify networks and organizations operating on more than one island at a national level. A series of online meetings will help address the need to know who is doing what and where, in order to identify geographic or thematic gaps, encourage new partnerships, and ultimately provide better responses to the needs of islands.
After a first session focused on Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Americas, this second session, held in English, will focus on Asia and the Pacific.
