Small African islands are committed to preserving their environment and implementing solutions for the sustainable development of their territories. With the support of the French Facility for Global Environment (FFEM), SMILO is currently funding 17 projects focused on biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, and the sustainable management of water, energy, and waste. In a dynamic “Pop-up” session format, the 17 project representatives will present the best practices implemented on their respective islands. Session 1 – Strengthening biodiversity conservation and climate change adaptation Q&A Session Session 2 – Sustainable water and waste management on small islands Conclusion Working languages: French and English Hybrid event
