Following the European and Mediterranean Coastal Agencies Meetings held in France in 2015 and in Montenegro in 2020, and continuing from the virtual ICO seminar held on June 8, which allowed us to share our approaches and projects on the challenges of coastal adaptation to climate change, the Conservatoire du littoral is organizing a new technical workshop on September 8, 2021, in Marseille (France). This workshop will once again bring together coastal agencies and organizations from Europe and the Mediterranean working on the conservation of coastal natural areas. The purpose of this workshop is to share current topics and ongoing projects from all the organizations present (land acquisition, biodiversity conservation and ecological restoration, heritage/building and landscape valorization, public communication and awareness, local governance and partnerships, etc.), and to collectively work on the development of partnerships, cooperation projects, or opportunities for collective mobilization to collectively raise the Voice of the Coasts.
